Privacy Policy
Your numbers stay in your browser. Here's exactly what that means.
Last updated: 31 August 2026
The Clear Sum is a set of calculators. The short version: your numbers stay in your browser. We don't collect what you type into any calculator, and we don't run accounts, logins or newsletters.
What we collect
- Calculator inputs — salaries, ages, property prices and so on are processed entirely on your device using JavaScript. They are never sent to a server, stored on our side, or seen by us. If you accept storage, your latest inputs are kept in your browser's local storage so the page remembers them next time.
- Cookie preference — your choice in the cookie banner is stored in local storage so we don't ask again.
- Advertising and analytics — if you accept all cookies, third-party services (such as Google AdSense and a basic analytics tool) may set cookies to show ads and measure visits. If you choose "necessary only", none of these load.
What we don't do
- We don't ask for your name, email or any identifying information anywhere on this site.
- We don't sell or share data, because we don't collect any to begin with.
- We don't use the results you calculate for anything other than showing them back to you on screen.
Your rights
Because no personal data is collected or stored by us, there's generally nothing to access, correct or delete on our side. Advertising or analytics cookies are controlled by the third party that sets them — clear them any time through your browser settings, or choose "necessary only".
